AbstractElisabeth Hellström: Hur lät Jenny Lind, Christina Nilsson och Signe Hebbe? En studie av sångskolor och röstideal under 1800-talet. Uppsala universitet: Institutionen för musikvetenskap, uppsats för 60 p, 2007.The aim of this essay is to, with starting point in the Garcia- and Lamperti-schools, describe the voice ideals of the 19th century, and how it may have sounded. To exemplify the last-mentioned I have studied the voices of the three singers Jenny Lind,  Christina Nilsson and Signe Hebbe (there are no recordings of any of them).The essay contains two major parts. In the first I describe the technique of the Garcia- and Lamperti-schools and their views on registers, vibrato and messa di voce, ending with a summarizing analysis of the 19th century vocal ideals.

The purpose of this essay is to examine the construction of the norm-breaking characters Saga from the young adult novel Tusen gånger starkare written by Christina Herrström and Pippi Longstocking from the books written by Astrid Lindgren. In order to do this I have applied queer theory as well as theories of narrative in my analysis.To be able to study the breaking of norms, it has been essential to first examine the way the norm itself is manifested in the books. Because of this I have chosen to begin my analysis with an examination of two other characters who by their normative behavior contrasts against Pippi and Saga, namely Signe and Annika. The understanding of the normative discourse that Signe and Annika represent is crucial in understanding the way Saga and Pippi later turn against it.After that I examine in which ways Saga and Pippi breaks prevalent norms and how they as characters are constructed as being different. Subsequently I study the effects of Saga?s and Pippi?s norm-breaking, taking focus on how it influences Signe and Annika.Finally I discuss the view of Saga and Pippi as subversive characters, and however the books can be said to have a subversive effect.

The purpose of my project is to determine how a multimodal/intermedial text can be used when teaching in upper secondary school. Can using a text that to some point is current in the pupils? lives lift the interest for the specific subject? I opted to pick up Gunther Kress? research, Diana Laurillard?s book and Christina Olin-Scheller?s work on the subject. I have used several hours of lesson planning and the lesson itself with subsequent work consisting, among other things, of three qualitative interviews to achieve my purpose. Based on a qualitative approach, I discuss the results, which show that it is in fact very uplifting.

Uppsatsen syfte är att ta reda på hur genusperspektivet framställs i Liza Marklunds kriminal-roman Sprängaren. Fokus har lagts på karaktärerna Annika Bengtzon och Christina Furhage. Tonvikten ligger främst på Annika. Författaren Liza Marklund och Sprängaren presenteras i inledningen samt syftet och problemprecisering. Därefter följer en kort historik som har sin utgångspunkt i 1800-talet och som löper ända fram till idag.

Idag råder en hälsotrend vilket har lett till att det efterfrågas mer hälsosamma livsmedel än tidigare och detta skapar nya möjligheter för livsmedelsföretagen. Ica är den första livsmedelskedjan som har pågående hälsotrenden. Detta arbete beskriver hur Ica har tagit fram Gott liv och hur Ica har gått tillväga för att skapa en medvetenhet kring dessa produkter. Dessutom redogör arbetet för om budskapet har nått fram till konsumenterna, om det stimulerar dem till köp samt hur de uppfattar Gott liv. Arbetet grundar sig på en intervju med Icas dietist Christina Karlsson samt en konsumentundersökning med 100 deltagande konsumenter.

Uppsatsen undersöker om fyra gymnasielärare i historia reproducerar ett vi och ett de ur etnisk synvinkel genom sin undervisning av A-kursen. Undersökningen har som teoribas forskningsresultat från historikern Christina Johansson, litteraturprofessor Edward Said och sociologen Masoud Kamali. De mer specifika frågorna som uppsatsen försöker få svar på är om lärarna i fråga bedriver en eurocentrisk undervisning, om det finns ett vi- och de-tänkande inbyggt i undervisningen, om det finns en inbyggd tanke om positionell överlägsenhet gentemot de andra (icke-européer eller icke-västerlänningar) i undervisningen och om lärarna förnekar existensen av en social stereotypifiering. The aim of this paper is to examine which attitudes and experiences teachers have around the wide text concept, which is found in the course plan for the Swedish subject, and to find out which function films have in their teaching. The starting point of the paper?s theoretical part is the Swedish subject?s course plans and current research concerning the wide text concept and film in teaching. In order to achieve the formulated aim, qualitative interviews have been performed with three Swedish teachers active in the later years of compulsory-school.The result shows that there are divided opinions of the actual meaning of the concept. However the three teachers agree that film has something to enrich the teaching of the Swedish language and they are for most part positive to using film in their teaching.

The autumn of 2011, saw a new curriculum being put to use in Swedish schools, a curriculum whose purpose was to supply the Swedish schools with a larger national equivalence. This new curriculum was meant to counter the strong variations in grading that the ministry of education felt was a result of the Lpo94, the curriculum previous to lgy11's introduction.With the introduction of the new curriculum there followed some changes to the objectives and emphasis on content prepared by teachers in the subject of religious studies. As a result this also affected the teachers planning and execution of the course and its content. From the perspective of a teacher-to-be I hold a great interest concerning how lgy11 affected the religious teachers planning of their lessons and teachings. This essay is written with the hope of being able to determine how some of the now active teachers perceive that they have been affected by the curriculum in its structure of teaching and planning and the content of material.

Vi tar vår utgångspunkt i skolans roll som förmedlare av demokratiska värderingar. Vi studerar olika sätt att se på begreppet demokrati och problematiken i relationer mellan demokrati och skolan. Vi använder ett konstruktionistiskt perspektiv, där vi betonar vårt förhållande till forskningsprocessen. Vi betonar även svårigheterna i att särskilja delar i uppsatsen, så som metod, teori och empiri.Vårt syfte med uppsatsen är att problematisera relationer kring demokratibegreppet i gymnasieskolan, främst i relationen till betyg.Till empiriproduktionen har vi använt oss av tre samtal med personal på en gymnasieskola i Malmö. Vi har även studerat texter som Lpf 94, Värdegrundsboken och en rad debattartiklar.

This Master's thesis in library and information science aims to shed light on the concept of information literacy in higher education, particularly as manifested in two dissertations on the subject. Two models of information literacy are compared: Christina Doyle's list of ten attributes for students to master and Christine Bruce's seven conceptions of information literacy. The cognitive-behaviourist tradition in Doyle's study and the alternative, phenomenographic approach in Bruce's research are compared and commented. The taxonomies and internal relationship between separate components in the two models are investigated, as well as the ways the models relate to each other. The respective views of knowledge and learning are described.

This essay is about the meeting of the pedagogic mission and the reality of the conditions in preschools. It is about the frustrations that I, as a pedagogue, experience when I cannot fulfill this mission. An example of this is working when understaffed.My purpose is the acknowledgment of two main areas of the curriculum: caring and learning. This essay demonstrates the diversity of the occupation and it ?s constant need of positioning.

One of the largest work areas for speech and language pathologists is intervention for children with speech and language disorders. The purpose of the present study was to describe and analyze the clinical management of language impairment in children by studying and comparing medical records and literature from the years 2000 and 2009. The present study is a sequel to two previously published papers by Christina Samuelsson (1997; 1999), in which medical records and literature from the 1920-, 60- and 70?s were studied and a paper by Helén Sämfors (2001), in which the years 1985 and 1995 were studied. The medical records used in the present study came from a medical ward for speech and language pathology at a university hospital in Sweden. The results showed that significantly more children were referred to the clinic for speech and language problems in 2009 than in 2000, and more children were treated for their impairments.
